Top Ten Questions we've been asked since we have announced the store is closing
and the answers to them:
10. Why are you closing? Gas = $4.00, Milk = $3.00, Pack of way cool embellishments = $5.00 - what will you live without?
9. What will you do after? Eat lots and lots of chocolate while watching Sex in the City reruns.
8. Where will I shop for my supplies now? Well, I could tell you where to go but that doesn't seem very nice...
7. When did you change the store around? (followed by) Why are you closing? That sort of answers itself
6. What will you do after? Write a smutty historical piece about Scottish lairs and the wenches that need conquering
5. (via phone) Do you have anything good left? Do you always let others form an opinion for you? O.k. answered a question with a question sorry about that - so new answer - its a firm YES!
4. Was it the downsizing? Didn't anyone tell you size doesn't matter it's what you do with it.
3. What will you do after?
Laurie - is going on the road to be a comedian (but a bad girl variety what with her new tattoo and all)
Tracy - Moving to Hollywood, anyone notice how she looks just like Jennifer Aniston?
Leah - this mommy to be will be starting her boys on some very rigorous training to be the best tag-team wrestlers ever!
Sue - She'll focus on selling her Tastefully Simple products like a crazy woman and eventually take over the company where than her plan of world domination will be in full swing - tasty food at reasonable prices - we don't stand a chance, ALL HAIL SUE!
Amy - Run for President, I ran a scrapbook store they kind of go hand in hand - trying to make people happy while preserving our history, watch out Hillary!
2. Can I still use this 30% off coupon with the discount? Yeah sure and why not take my first born
And the number one asked question since we've announced the store is closing.......................................
1. What will you do now? Cry, Laugh, Drink heavily, Dance the Jig, Sleep for a day, Snuggle with the kids, read lots of books, watch t.v., be a mom, be a wife, be a friend, put one foot in front of the other, breathe in and out, and most importantly - look back with fond memories, no regrets and our sense of humor intact!
